After I read about the world’s most colorful buildings and some others that come to life at night, it is time for something shaky. The Sathorn Unique Building towers in Bangkok are 49 floors of ruin. It was going to be a premium luxury apartment, but, is now home to stray dogs, homeless and drug addicts.
Let us know a few creepy and interesting facts about the “Ghost Tower”.
1. The building’s architect was arrested for plotting against the president of Supreme court.

Rangsan Torsuwan got involved in a case that went on for 15 years. Praman Chansue’s murder was the case, but Rangsan was later acquitted in 2010.
2. It was 80% complete when its construction was stopped.

Due to the case, it became difficult for the architect to secure funds, moreover the 1997 Asian Financial crisis had reduced the chances of completing the towers.
3. Ancient burial ground below the towers, allegedly.

Its walls contribute to the mystery.
4. People can climb up the tower for just THB 500.

And it is open to the tourists from 2pm to 8pm everyday.
5. A backpacker was once found dead inside.

In 2014, the dead body of a Swedish backpacker was discovered on the 43rd floor, by a Thai photographer.
6. It is a real risk to life.

Debris, holes, stagnant water pools, loose electrical wires, broken toilets, and crumbling structures welcome you into the towers. Some floors are lit up by faint bulbs, while others are pitch black.
7. It has become a harbor for graffiti artists.

It has a collection of graffiti on the walls, both beautiful and creepy.
8. Bangkok looks awesome from up there.

Trust me, you’d risk it all just for the views from up there. Also, there’s that adrenaline factor attached making it even more blood-rushing.
Bangkok is simply breathtaking.
