The paranormal story of this hotel served as an inspiration for Stephen King’s movie The Shining. This hotel is haunted by founder & his wife. Along with former employees who have passed away.
2. The Place d’Armes Hotel, New Orleans.

Imagine a young girl asks you about her grandmother (no big deal), before vanishing into the thin air (bigggg deal!). Scary right? Well, this is one among the many sightings which have made this hotel earn its haunted tag.

This inn was used by the court of law to hang the convicts during Welsh Revolt. It is said that the ghost of Judge Jeffery still roams in this inn. Many have felt ropes tightening around their necks during their stay.

This hotel was the childhood home of the beheaded Queen – Anne Boleyn. This picturesque and luxurious hotel has many incidents of spotting of Anne’s ghost.
